Let the RANT begin! I kinda want to KILL right now! For the NA and EU release of Final Fantasy XIII, they are REPLACING the japanese ballad "Kimi ga Irukara" by Sugawara Sayuri with some bland British song by Leona Lewis called "My Hands".

OOOOH This REALLY angers me! Just imagine what it would have been like if they had replaced Suteki de ne with some Kelly Clarkson song? This news is so bad it actually kinda makes me want to cry. Don't go fucking up my game experience with some shitty internationalization of the game. An English dub of this song would have been perfect, but replacing it outright with another song?! I don't care what it is, it isn't what the original artists (the development team) intended which makes it garbage to me. My Hands sounds NOTHING like the melodies established for FFXIII, so it will be completely out of place and horrible.

And you just KNOW this shit will be playing at some extremely emotional moment, like when someone dies, or someone falls in love, or the ending, so they have VERY effectively ruined the most important moment of the game by adding this ridiculous song into it.

Everything about this decision smells of design by committee, "Y'know what would sell more copies of the game? If we include a single from a trendy up and coming vocalist in America and Europe instead of the original since stupid foreigners can't possible appreciate the original work."

If they really wanted to do this, why couldn't they have just had Leona Lewis sing the English version of Kimi ga Irukara? This is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

I've been looking forward to FFXIII for YEARS, and now that we're this close, they give me a solid reason to reject it outright!
